Penny is always cheerful and a great hairdresser. I have always loved building a relationship with my hairdresser, seeing it as a chance for a chat and a catch up (or a quiet time working if necessary) as well as getting my hair done. Penny always allows me to do what I want to do – while working magic on my hair. And, being a busy person, I combine my drive to my Penny’s with a trip to Ikea!

Penny has done my hair for years. She has great advice on how to deal with my thinning and fine hair. Reading her book also helped me work out styles to suit, and tricks on what to do to help reduce my hair thinning. I can always text her to ask her opinion on hair care products and she gives feedback that really assists you in making informed choices. Highly recommend.

I first met Pen when we were planning our wedding in 2010. From the first moment Pen made me feel completely at ease and I quickly learnt that she takes the time to make sure that you are completely happy. She takes the time to explain exactly what she is doing and why and how to keep your hair looking as great as it can until the next appointment.

I wanted to get a keratin hair straightening treatment – I was given 2 hairdresser’s numbers in my area by the keratin supplier. I called the first hairdresser asking about the price and after asking me if my hair was long or short, I was given a quote. The second number I was given was Penny’s. I called her and aside from telling me what the cost would be (which was the same as the other hair dresser), she talked me through the entire process so I would understand exactly what the treatment entailed. Then she asked if I had time to drop into her salon so that she could see my hair and if need be, we could discuss other treatment options if the keratin wouldn’t be suitable for my hair.

I was very impressed with her product knowledge and professionalism during that phone conversation and after meeting with her, she continued to demonstrate her outstanding competence, service and professionalism. Penny did such a fabulous job then, that I have never looked back and for the last 7 years I have been privileged enough to have always had my colours, cuts and occasional keratin treatments done by the amazingly talented Penny.

I can positively say that I love my hair thanks to Penny!

Penny has an in depth knowledge of special needs regarding sensitivity to products and has been able to advise me regarding my particular situation.
