My best friend (make up artist for weddings) recommended Penny for my sisters wedding in 2004, we all looked fabulous on the day and I have been having my hair done by Penny since then. I cant speak highly enough of her. I get compliments on my hair regularly (and at times when I have not been local I have tried other hairdressers and they just cant do what Penny does). Penny is an elite stylist with down to earth prices. She really knows what she is doing plus she has a gorgeous heart and treats all her clients like celebrities!

Simply an amazing hairdresser, stylist and person. Penny did my wedding 7 years ago and continues to colour and style my hair to this day. She has repaired my hair from previous hairdressers and my hair has never looked better. Penny gives wonderful advice that is personalised and is honest. She is up to date with the lastest styles and products. It is so hard to find a brilliant hairdresser who consistently gives you beautiful results and I am over the moon to say I have found that brilliant hairdresser ‘ Penny Martin’.

There is just no one else like Penny. Her talent for hair is only surpassed by her warmth and energy that you feel the moment you are in her beautiful salon.

Penny has been my hairdresser for more than 6 years. For a trim, new style, colour, perm, or special occasion… It does not matter…. She is brilliant.

Before meeting Penny I found it hard to walk out of a salon happy with my hair. This is not the case with Penny, I have never been unhappy with my hair….. She listens and manages to execute exactly what I want.

I first came to Penny recommended by a friend to have my hair done for my wedding. I can’t recommend her enough. Her professionalism, attention to detail go hand in hand with her beautiful and warm personality that makes you feel at ease as soon as you step into her salon. Since my wedding, I have come to her for my colour, style, everything, and nothing is ever too hard for Penny. I could not recommend her enough, no one is allowed to touch my hair apart from her from now on!

Personal attention, and a whizz with colour. Every visit is a joy!

Penny styled my bridesmaid’s hair for my wedding. The styles were perfect, all slightly similar without being too uniform which was exactly what we all wanted. The style lasted all day, even through 40 degree heat and a lot of dancing! Penny is reasonably priced, super professional and made the whole experience very enjoyable.

From the moment I stepped into Penny’s salon, I knew I had met a true professional who cares!

Penny provided an amazing Bridal Hair service at our home for my daughter’s wedding and made her special day just perfect. She brought a wonderful sense of calm day as she worked on everyone’s hair and had such a caring attitude which made us all feel so special. Her skill and timing was great as she worked with the make-up artist and the end result was stunning!

I have continued to visit Penny’s salon for my hairdressing needs and have always found the hours spent there so relaxing as we chat as she tends to my hair colour and cut. Penny has an in depth knowledge of special needs regarding sensitivity to products and has been able to advise me regarding my particular situation. She listens to exactly what I want and I am always 100% happy as I leave.

Penny even contacts me the next day to make sure I am happy with my colour – such incredible service and attitude that is not usually seen in this industry!    

I wanted to get a keratin hair straightening treatment – I was given 2 hairdresser’s numbers in my area by the keratin supplier. I called the first hairdresser asking about the price and after asking me if my hair was long or short, I was given a quote. The second number I was given was Penny’s. I called her and aside from telling me what the cost would be (which was the same as the other hair dresser), she talked me through the entire process so I would understand exactly what the treatment entailed. Then she asked if I had time to drop into her salon so that she could see my hair and if need be, we could discuss other treatment options if the keratin wouldn’t be suitable for my hair.

I was very impressed with her product knowledge and professionalism during that phone conversation and after meeting with her, she continued to demonstrate her outstanding competence, service and professionalism. Penny did such a fabulous job then, that I have never looked back and for the last 7 years I have been privileged enough to have always had my colours, cuts and occasional keratin treatments done by the amazingly talented Penny.

I can positively say that I love my hair thanks to Penny!

I first met Pen when we were planning our wedding in 2010. From the first moment Pen made me feel completely at ease and I quickly learnt that she takes the time to make sure that you are completely happy. She takes the time to explain exactly what she is doing and why and how to keep your hair looking as great as it can until the next appointment.

Penny has done my hair for years. She has great advice on how to deal with my thinning and fine hair. Reading her book also helped me work out styles to suit, and tricks on what to do to help reduce my hair thinning. I can always text her to ask her opinion on hair care products and she gives feedback that really assists you in making informed choices. Highly recommend.

Penny is always cheerful and a great hairdresser. I have always loved building a relationship with my hairdresser, seeing it as a chance for a chat and a catch up (or a quiet time working if necessary) as well as getting my hair done. Penny always allows me to do what I want to do – while working magic on my hair. And, being a busy person, I combine my drive to my Penny’s with a trip to Ikea!

Penny has the touch of an angel. She pours herself into making you feel the best about yourself far beyond the physical services she offers. I fly all the way from Singapore to get my hair done by her and regret the one time I allowed someone else to get their hands on my hair. If you have the opportunity to easily drive to get your hair done by her – I must say – I am jealous!!

I have been a client of Penny’s since 1999. Every time I attend the salon I am made to feel welcomed and special. Penny is an excellent hair stylist and always puts the needs of her clients first.

Penny is a talented, sweet, generous and genuine hairdresser. She thinks about how a style will suit someone’s face, she works with annoying cowlicks and different quirks.

She considers the maintenance and colour to suit the individual and then she teaches you how to style! I could not be happier with Penny.

From free wifi, coffee, current magazines, snacks, massage chair, good tunes, great conversation and counselling skills. She now even tops it off with JP services.

Penny, you treated me better than family, I feel like a million dollars and you managed to cut my daughter’s hair so that her curls look incredible!
